Responsibilities
What you will be doing
- Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.
- Administrates and implements all aspects of human resources plans and procedures for company personnel
- Advises managers and supervisors on appropriate actions for resolving personnel issues according to Company policies and procedures
- Promptly investigates any employee-reported workplace claims by defining problems, collecting statements and establishing facts to draw valid conclusions. Provides advice to employees and managers to establish positive and respectful working relationships.
- Assist employees with employment issues.
- Manages employee leaves to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
- Recommends changes to Employee Handbook and Management Guide as needed.
- Assist with and oversees recruitment and new hire processing.
- Collects data, develops, and updates Affirmative Action Plan.
- Acts as a liaison with union to facilitate movement of union related topics and inquiries
- Assists in monthly payroll process.
- Involved in and assists with compensation, benefits, and related company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
COMMENTS: This position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
Experience:Minimum 3 years related Human Resources experience, management preferred.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired. Knowledge of Washington State employment regulations required.
Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail, high quality of work and accuracy no matter how large or small the task
Organized: Outstanding time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Communication: Excellent written, oral and active listening skills
Technical Skills:Experience working with iCIMS and Dayforce preferred, but not required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
Collaboration: Able to work effectively with other employees, departments and companies, both in person and virtually

Work Schedule: This is an in office position with the ability to work one day per week remote. Regular attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this job.
