Description:As a Sr. Accessibility Designer - Instructional, you will manage all key aspects of making instructional learning elements accessible based on the W3Cs Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. You will bring your experience in page layout, design, development of training content, and WBT tools to the position. Your knowledge and expertise in the accessibility guidelines will help to guide the future development of learning assets.Main responsibilities:* Manage multiple design projects using sound project management tools and methodologies* Test existing learning assets for accessibility with a screen reader (NVDA, VoiceOver, etc.), color contrast checker, and other tools as necessary* Review, edit, and re-design existing learning assets as needed for accessibility based on the W3Cs Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to UX and instructional design* Upload and test remediated content in Cornerstone LMS* Work with subject matter experts to proactively partner to obtain and validate courseware content* Recommend and implement improvements to training to maximize benefits to customers, employees, and in meeting business objectives* Work with members of the Instructional Design and Development team to meet design goals efficiently, effectively, and within the specified time frame and budget while exceeding stakeholder's expectations* Offer accessibility consulting solutions and strategies to design teams* Proactively introduce new training tools that would improve the process for accessibility in the learning and development environmentThe following skills/experience will be required:* Instructional Design experience* Experience remediating content for accessibility to the WCAG 2.0 AA standards* Storyline software* Captivate software* Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign software
