This opportunity is considered a hybrid national position, allowing candidates to work from one main Clearwater manufacturing location and travel to the other mill locations throughout the year! What you will do
Analysis and Evaluation
Analyze impact and risk of emergency and security-related situations as it pertains to essential business functions at the site
Reviews existing disaster recovery, crisis management, and business continuity plans for effectiveness and applicability to Clearwater operations
Evaluates the preparedness/responsive plans for efficacy and efficiency of deployment and collaborate with department leaders to ensure those standards are obtained
Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in security and emergency-related planning
Strategy, Development, and Implementation
Communicates security and emergency-related status, updates, and both realized and unrealized problems to managers and leaders to facilitate necessary improvements
Develops and implements policies and procedures to proactively protect against security or emergency-related concerns
Coordinates with managers and leaders to develop emergency management and contingency plans
Coordinates activities to facilitate the safeguarding of company employees, visitors, and facilities
Advises managers on current processes to ensure preparedness in case of an emergency or security-related incident
Collaboration and Communication
Coordinates with other departments constantly to promote feedback on emergency and security preparedness processes
Coordinates with public entities including law enforcement and fire response to ensure compliance with public policies and any necessary drills
Stays up-to-date with current industry trends and best practices to ensure safety and emergency-related policies are current
Partners with site teams to manage emergencies and security incidents
What you will need
High School or GED required
Bachelor's degree in Security or Emergency Management or related field - preferred
2+ years of work experience in related field
Experience managing multiple projects across multiple sites
Professional Certification (CPP, APP, PSP, etc) - preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrates excellent complex problem-solving skills, judgment, and decision making
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to implement sound reasoning in high-stress scenarios
MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Conducts majority of work within a standard office environment
Conducts some work in a manufacturing and production environment that may expose one to potential safety hazards, loud and repetitive sounds, and low-high temperatures
Personal protective equipment is required in mill/manufacturing environments.
25% of the time will be spent traveling from site base to other sites for site assessments and project implementation
Total Reward Details
We're committed to providing an exceptional workplace experience, including a comprehensive total reward package. The base salary range for the position is $61,000 - $91,500 and is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan. Base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience among other factors. Benefits are generally available after 30 days and include medical, dental, vision, life, disability coverage, employee assistance program, and a 401k plan. Starting paid time off includes 15 vacation days, 5 floating holidays, and 9 company holidays per full year.
