Project Engineer to join the team in Wenatchee, WA or Kirkland,
WA.
Hours/Schedule: Full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday
(8am – 5pm)

About the role:
CPH is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil
Project Engineer. The successful candidate will advance their design skills
while overseeing deliverables and mentoring younger design staff on a variety
of land development and municipal infrastructure projects. The Civil Project
Engineer is a full-time position for an individual who desires to improve
their technical skills, interact directly with clients and outside consultants,
produce exceptional work, and contribute positively to an established team of
professionals. CPH equips all employees with the technology necessary to

What you’ll do:
- Perform design,
technical analysis, and engineering calculations and prepare plans related
to grading, drainage, utility systems, and other site improvements.
- Provide direction to
design engineers, drafting and administrative staff, and subconsultants on
project tasks, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Prepare technical
reports, correspondence, and other communications for clients and
regulatory agencies.
- Meet and communicate
with jurisdictions to understand and identify regulatory requirements and
design standards.
- Prepare/manage
completion of land use entitlement and permitting documents including
exhibits, applications, and narratives.
- Assist with marketing
and business development including preparation of scopes of work and fees.
- Communicate, coordinate,
and maintain relationships with clients, subconsultants, and agency
partners.
Our ideal candidate:
- 5+ years of professional
experience as a civil engineer.
- BSCE and professional
civil engineering registration (PE) in Washington, or the ability to
obtain Washington state PE within six months of hire.
- Confidence and
experience in designing civil site and infrastructure improvements
including roadway, grading, storm drainage, and water/sanitary sewer
facilities.
- Proficient with AutoCAD
Civil 3D.
- Hydrologic and hydraulic
modeling experience including WWHM, MGS Flood, HEC-HMS, TR-55/NRCS based
software, HEC-RAS, SWMM, or others.
- Strong written and oral
communication skills and proficient in use of Microsoft Office software.
- Focus on clarity,
accuracy, and completeness of work product.
- Local agency design and
permitting experience preferred.
