At Amcor Rigid Packaging (ARP), our teams are focused on developing and making plastic bottles and jars that create a unique experience and are better for the environment. Our bottles and jars are primarily made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate), which has rapidly become the world's preferred packaging material.

About the Role
Amcor's first priority is to ensure the safety of our co-workers. The Palletizer/Downstream Operator must safely operator the various packaging equipment on a 12-hour shift and ensure that both quality and productivity meet Amcor standards.
Safety first - be aware of and abide by company safety policies and procedures at all times
Complete quality checks as required and communicate quality issues to the Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor and Quality Department
Maintain a high degree of housekeeping at all time, keeping equipment and work area clean and organized
Ensure equipment is in good and safe working condition and communicate to the Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor and Maintenance when mechanical issues arise.
Effectively run the Palletizer, being aware of your surroundings to ensure conveyer lines are free of blockages
Accurately complete all required paperwork and hand in at the end of shift
Attend daily shift meetings and training as required
Ability to perform duties for 12-hour shift in a plant manufacturing setting
Complete all other tasks assigned

About You
High school diploma or GED
Prior production related experience preferred
Able to effectively communicate safety, quality and production issues
Able to work quickly and complete tasks in a fast-paced production environment
High attention to detail
Self-motivated with ability to work individually and as a team
Must be willing to work any shift
