Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Materials Coordinator for a 12 Month+ Contract opportunity. Responsibilities and Requirements
- Creating and supporting purchase orders.
- Working with buyers to get the purchase orders created in a timely manner.
- Comparing purchase orders to the quotes, making sure all information is correct on purchase order.
- Tracking the material upon arrival.
- Distributing the raw material based on the distribution plan.
- Reconciling purchases to deliveries.
- Purchasing components for the engineering team.
- Interfacing with the shipping/receiving team to deliver purchased components to the correct engineer that requested the order.
- Coordinating providing the raw material/parts needed to support the SWAR.
- Coordinating the timing of the SWAR in support of the project schedule.
- Moving and managing the finished devices to a controlled location in Engineering.
- Distributing the devices based on the distribution plan.
- Tracking devices through the device tracking system; updating as need to document device changes (hardware/software updates/testing that the devices were used for - Drop, Vibe, etc.)
- Coordinating which test devices (formal & informal) to retain for future audit or use in a future test (including scrapping of material when no longer worth retaining).
- Creating and managing inventory requests from operations; receiving materials in a timely manner in alignment to the project schedule.
- Managing device re-work as needed with the lab.
- Coordinating device and material shipments to/from other locations.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in relevant field of study required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar role highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
