Job DescriptionRequisition Summary
This position is responsible for the Powertrain Aftersales Engineering Department within the Global Powertrain Organization. This position supports PACCAR powertrains used in Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks. This includes investigating/defining warranty and customer issues for corrective action, analysis/tracking warranty claims and providing technical information and assistance to PB/KW Dealerships, PB/KW Field Service, and the Vehicle Support Call Center. Deliverables include customer uptime improvements, warranty cost reductions, accelerating issue identification and driving the organization to implement solutions. Other responsibilities include close collaboration with product development, aftersales, and engine factory teams.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
Coordinate engine corrective action support activities with other PACCAR divisions and suppliers
Develop, mentor and train technical staff with multiple engineering disciplines and specific engine system and diagnostics skills
Develop and manage department budgets
Prepare and deliver formal reports and presentations to all levels of the organization
Comfortable and capable of representing the PACCAR Powertrain during interactions with other divisions and outside organizations
Propose, plan, and implement improvements in corrective action and aftersales support to meet organizational objectives
Other duties and activities as assigned

Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage resources, and achieve results
5+ years of applicable experience; diesel engine design experience is preferred
Broad range of PACCAR experience is highly desirable
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of diesel engine systems is required; heavy truck product knowledge is preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead an organization, manage resources and achieve results
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Education
an advanced degree in engineering or related field is preferred.

The salary range for Powertrain Aftersales Current Product Manager is $96,700 - $151,300 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
