The Opportunity
The Digital Video & Audio (DVA) team in Adobe develops industry-leading software products including Premiere Pro and After Effects. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work on the development of our high-performance video processing pipeline that forms the backbone of our Video Applications.
What you'll do
Work on developing the high-performance video processing pipeline for DVA products
Work on architecting, coding and productizing components, features and user experiences
Work on projects from scoping requirements to launch, ensuring ongoing support
Work on ensuing the highest quality, performance and scalability on an ongoing basis
Collaborate with global teams on a regular basis
Stay updated on the latest industry developments, and actively share knowledge with the team
What you need to succeed
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
10+ years' experience in Software Engineering with 5+ years working on high-performance applications
Strong proficiency in modern C++, working in large and complex codebase on Mac or Windows
Good grasp of Operating Systems concepts & algorithms
Fundamental knowledge of modern GPU architectures and related graphics interfaces (DirectX, CUDA, Metal etc.)
Understanding, profiling and tuning high-performance software on NVIDIA, Apple, AMD, Mobile GPUs
Experience in developing high-performance Video Processing in Non Linear Editing (NLE) software is strongly preferred
Strong inclination towards developing high-quality and data-driven systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working in a global environment
Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $173,300 -- $312,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
