Bruker Nano, one of Bruker's four operating segments, provides customers in academic and governmental institutions, life science, materials, and applied industries with the tools to determine the characteristics of matter and visualize the structure of molecules. Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy.
This role is responsible for RMA inspection, refurbishment, and verification for NanoString Instruments, parts, and sub-assemblies.
This position will be expected to perform instrument Quality Control, troubleshooting, and repairing complex mechanical, optical, and fluidic instrumentation for multiple instruments.
This position reports to the Manager, Technical Service.
Perform Incoming Inspection and Qualification testing on NanoString Instruments following revision-controlled Standard Operating Procedures
Record nonconformances and perform investigations into failures Troubleshoot, Repair, and requalify instruments in accordance with training and service manuals
Supporting Verification and Validation of changes of procedures and forms including IQC, Installation, Preventative
Responsibilities
Perform incoming inspection of returned parts and instruments
Perform decontamination, evaluation, troubleshooting, repair, and qualifications of parts and instruments
Perform high-value refurbishment and qualifications of high-value sub-assemblies working with supply chain and vendors
Perform Service Support tool assembly and qualification
Identify opportunities to reduce cycle time and field failures
Develop and implement fixates, jigs, and test fixtures as appropriate
Qualifications
At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $78,000.00yr. and $127,000.00/yr. and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
