Landing Table
Description:
Employee performs several tasks in the process of the landing table station. The worker must be able to differentiate between various grades of lumber, target sizes of lumber and will also be required to take moisture readings with a handheld meter. Worker is responsible for trash belt and metal detector to chipper to ensure proper flow. Worker will perform clean up during down time and when there is no wood.

Landing Table duties and responsibilities include:
- Must be able to identify various lumber dimensions without measuring every piece
- Must be willing to work as a team to maintain steady, consistent flow of lumber
- Maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends
- Some Planermill experience
Physical ability:
- Must be able to stand and work up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds as needed
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and adhere to a no drug policy
