Overview
General Dynamics Electric Boat, the nation's premier designer and builder of nuclear submarines, is seeking a Technical Assistant.
In this junior-level position, the D705 Technical Assistant will provide support to the Engineering team in Maintenance and Alteration activities for submarines at Bangor, WA and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
This position requires relocation to our Bangor, Washington site.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and update Selected Record drawings using good drawing skills and AutoCAD.
Verify shipboard conditions in support of Selected Record Drawings and Configuration Management/ILS products.
Support the Engineering team in maintenance and modernization activities on submarines.

Qualifications
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of relevant experience, Engineering field preferred.
Relocation to our Bangor, Washington site is required.
Preferred:
Familiarity with AutoCAD or other computer-based design software.
Demonstrable drawing skills.
Fundamental understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
