Responsibilities
- Design and plan the international E-Commerce fulfillment system, ensuring seamless international order fulfillment and efficient logistics operations.
- Drive the logistics solutions development process including analyzing, designing, and implementing end-to-end logistics solutions to support the development of an innovative, secure, and intuitive E-Commerce ecosystem.
- Perform in-depth research and competitive analysis of E-Commerce fulfillment business models and systems in different countries to develop and enhance the core logistics and supply chain systems and to support the domestic and cross-border E-Commerce business.
- Cooperate with the E-commerce software engineering, logistic operation, data science, data modeling and algorithm, and other related teams to design, implement, and promote the logistic and supply chain system and product and engineering architecture for US E-commerce markets.
- Contribute to short- and long-term logistics planning and solution design for the U.S. seller-fulfilled marketplace.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify pain points, design the optimal solutions, and optimize processes, procedures, and systems to gain better performance for the platform, sellers, consumers, and creators.
- Monitor and analyze day-to-day business performance to pinpoint trends and propose data driven improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams, resources and channels, and ensure the designed solution is launched with high quality and rollout as planned.
Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Analytics, Operations Research, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Analytics, Operations
Research, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field, and 8 years of related work experience, out of which 5 years must be post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience in each of the following:
- Designing and planning e-commerce fulfillment system, including: (1) Conducting e-commerce fulfillment system solution design for international order fulfillment, international and domestic logistics, international warehousing, and custom clearings, and (2) Integrating e-commerce fulfillment system with international supply chain and logistics service providers;
- Performing financial and cost analysis, including Total-Cost Ownership (TCO) and creating Should-Cost Models for pricing analysis to support sourcing strategy, negotiation with suppliers, and opportunity identification;
- Performing vendor management activities, including evaluating supplier performance compared to business needs, developing and assessing supplier scorecards, negotiating supplier legal terms on behalf of business interests, and monitoring Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance;
- Building and streamlining processes and workflows using Jira, and tracking projects status and milestones and coordinating cross-functional alignment to ensure timely execution of deliverables;
- Developing metrics and KPIs including cost and supply chain operational targets to measure and improve Procurement and/or Supply Chain performance for the organization; and
- Performing end-to-end product management, including coordinating cross-functional teams in product conceptualization, design, development, and implementation/deployment.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Domestic travel up to 25% required.
