Compensation range: $28.00-$31.00/HR

Position Summary:

Location: South Seattle, WA

Hours: Monday - Friday; Day Shift 

 

The Operations Lead holds the field crew to the highest standards in the moves, adds, and changes of furniture at customer sites. Serves as a main point of contact for both Operation Supervisors and field crew. Plans workflow, directs services, resolves issues, and manages all administrative paperwork. Works closely with Operation Supervisors and field crew to ensure customer's satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Staff performance management, coaching, and development of field crew
  • Partner with Operation Supervisors to develop and revise field procedures to ensure field crew adhere to policies and procedures consistently
  • White glove responsibilities for escalations
  • Subject matter expert and quality control of overall daily duties of crew
  • Creative solutions to resolve problems that emerge during services
  • Provides leadership for field crew teams on projects with significant complexity
  • Effectively interacts with customers, trades, colleagues, and vendor partners
  • Provides training and monitoring for field crew (and vendor partners) in the correct methods and resolution of service issues
  • Perform tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications: 

 

Education/Experience

  • 2 – 4 years of supervisory experience, preferably in delivery and/or installation
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong mechanical capability, experience in furniture, cabinetry, or flooring installation
  • Strong communication skills to include verbal, written and presentation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Preferred experience of blueprints, elevations, typical and specifications
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year leading and managing people in a team-based environment
  • Understanding and knowledge of services offered (Furniture industry) or willing to learn
  • Mindful of maintaining safety in the work environment
