Applying for and continuing to claim unemployment benefits are different for apprentices. We have made it easier by creating a apprenticeship specific guide. Follow these steps:

  1. Create or sign in to your eServices account.
  2. Download a helpful guide to apply for the first time as an apprentice.
  3. Apply for unemployment benefits through eServices.
  4. File additional weekly unemployment claims using this guide.

Your local WorkSource center also provides support services for apprenticeship, applying for benefits, training programs, career development and more.
